Hey Festival Neighbors, I’m Dawn. I moved to Festival Ranch in May 2020 and after a couple of years here I saw a need for a way to help bring our two communities together. That’s when I launched FestivalNeighbors.com in 2023 as a holiday contest and it has grown to include an event calendar, business directory, newsletter, food truck schedule and much more.

I created a website so everyone can access the information, regardless of which side they lived on or if they had social media account or not. My goal is to keep the site open and welcoming to everyone, including surrounding communities as we continue to grow out here.

I do work and have a family, so I manage this site in my free time and personally cover all the associated expenses as a way to give back to our community. To maintain a healthy work life balance, I schedule social media reminders in advance when possible, highlighting information that’s already shared on the website or in the newsletter. I also add extra posts when I can, but I can’t commit to constant reminders across every platform since all important information is always available here on the website for everyone to access. For that reason, I rely on the community to help spread the word on upcoming events, food trucks, and everything in between.
