trash & recycling

Special Instructions

Trash & Recycling are on the same day, remember to space out your cans 3ft apart from each other.

TRASH

All trash must be bagged and the bags must be tied.  All bags must be contained in a city approved trash can and fit into the trash can so it will fall out easily.  Shut your lid!  Trash can lids must remain closed when placed for service.

RECYCLING

What may be recycled in Buckeye? Dry and clean CARDBOARD, BEVERAGE CANS, FOOD CANS, dry PLASTIC BOTTLES with CAPS and dry clean glass.

** Please do not bag recycling, items go straight onto conveyor belts at the recycling facility, bags slow down the process **

Maintenance:

Residential trash and recycle carts are owned by our contractor and must be kept clean by the resident.  Contact the city if your 96 gallon cart needs maintenance or repair.

In-ground cans in Sun City Festival are owned by the property owner and maintenance is the property owner's responsibility.
